I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was exceptional, the staff was very friendly, and breakfast options were plentiful. The location was convenient and within walking distance to the dam.

The proximity to shopping centers and the peaceful environment were the best aspects of my stay. Security was another plus, which made me feel safe. , the owners were very friendly and accommodating. They offered us a delicious breakfast with plenty of options to choose from.
The service was not on par with our expectations, especially when it came to the cleanliness of the rooms. The soap holder was empty, and we had to wait a while to get our towels replaced.

The location near the dam is wonderful: you can enjoy the view while walking along the peaceful paths. there are some nice restaurants nearby. the bathroom was clean and functional, and the room had enough space. the bed was comfortable. the hotel offers free Wi-Fi and parking.
The staff's service was poor: they weren't always available and one time they forgot to refill the soap holder.

I was pleasantly surprised by Ridderspoor Guesthouse in Middelburg. The owner, despite a delay in our arrival, greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. The cleanliness of the facilities was impressive and the location was convenient for our needs. Although there were a few minor issues, such as the lack of self-catering options and semi-private toilets, they did not detract from our overall experience. I would recommend this guesthouse for its cleanliness and convenient location.

Great location and clean facilities! I loved the convenient proximity to local shops and the hotel's excellent housekeeping. the staff was friendly and welcoming as well.
There were limited self-catering options which was disappointing. the lack of a concierge or front desk 24/7 could be a hassle in case of any problems.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
